About Driffield Show

The Driffield Show offers a range of exciting attractions for visitors to enjoy. The main ring spectacle features the mesmerizing JC Balls Dancing Diggers, showcasing the impressive skills and precision of JCB operators.


The equine community takes center stage with a packed timetable of horse and pony events, including local ridden ponies and show jumping classes. The heavy horse section promises to captivate the crowd with their majestic presence. Horticulture and handicraft sections invite participants of all ages and abilities to showcase their talents.


Livestock enthusiasts will be thrilled by the exceptional entries in the sheep and cattle sections. Additionally, the fun dog show offers a delightful opportunity to celebrate our furry friends' unique qualities. Get ready for a memorable experience at the Driffield Show!



About Ryedale Show

The Ryedale Show was established in 1855 and is a traditional Agricultural Show renowned for its very high standard of entries in all Sections and Trade Stands that attend in ever growing numbers each year. The Show is run with both the farming community and townspeople's interests in mind and there are attractions for everyone of all ages.


The show offers great value for money, with a full and varied day of entertainment with some wonderful retail therapy as well.


Situated within a natural amphitheatre, there are eight rings running throughout the day, exhibiting prime cattle, horses, sheep, pigs and goats. There are also sections for fur & feather, produce, WI/YCA and children’s classes together with sheep dog trials and a scurry.


In the region of 200 quality trade stands attend each year, with many having exhibited each year for at least 10 years. They openly say that it is like a "family meeting" and this makes the atmosphere unique, warm and very friendly.
